Daniel Joseph Melillo

Daniel Joseph Melillo Jr. passed away peacefully on April 28, 2020 in Norwalk, CT. Daniel was born on February 15, 1927 in East Norwalk, CT to the late Gladys Arlene (Fitch) and Daniel Joseph Melillo Sr.

Daniel was a loving person who enjoyed sports, especially baseball and football. He could always be found pulling for his favorite teams, The New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys. Daniel was an avid reader who loved spending time reading anything by James Patterson, but above everything, Daniel loved his family. He often traveled to Florida for Melillo Family Reunions and to visit his siblings. Daniel had a caring spirit and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Daniel is survived by his loving children Deborah O’Sullivan (Michael), Judith Corrie, Douglas Melillo, and Daniela Melillo, his brothers Robert and William Melillo, his grandchildren Shawna O’Sullivan, Brennan O’Sullivan, Sarah Fox, Andrew Melillo, Denise Ukers, Kimberly Parsons, Heather Colon, Timothy Strano, Matthew Strano, and Sebastian Strano, as well as his great grandchildren Ella Audet, Wyatt Fox, Ashley Corrie, Zachary Ukers, George Ukers, Katrina Parsons, John Parsons, Kaylin Pecor, Christepher Perez and Gracie Strano. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Viola Gladys Melillo and his daughter Violet Pearl.
