Clifford ‘Skip’ Barber, of Brookfield, CT, died peacefully with his wife by his side at Danbury Hospital on December 20, 2023. He was 84 years old.
Skip was born on December 18, 1939 in Danbury, CT, son of the late Leslie and Helen (Heyde) Barber. Skip honorably served in the US Army as an MP following high school. Skip was married to the love of his life Carol Lattin, together they enjoyed many years of happiness.
Skip enjoyed being outdoors, he loved to hunt and fish. Together Carol and Skip traveled the world, adventuring all over Europe and the United States. Skip was a handy man- he built his home where he and carol have lived in for the last 30 years.
Mr. Barber is survived by his loving spouse, Carol, and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his son Ronald Barber in 1977.
A private cremation will be held for Skip, burial of his ashes will be held at Brookfield Central Cemetery at a later date.
