Christine Sandra Gallagher

Christine Sandra Gallagher, of Wassaic, NY, passed away suddenly on November 25, 2024 at Danbury Hospital. She was 62 years old.

Born on September 7, 1962 in Port Chester, NY, daughter of Gloria (Westfall) Consentino and the late John Consentino Sr.

Christine was a beloved member of the kitchen staff at Sharon Healthcare. She was a people person, and it showed while she was working, not only with coworkers but also the residents. Christine loved music- it was a focal point in her life and brought a lot of enjoyment. She listened to Bon Jovi so much she received the nickname Jersey from her coworkers. She could often be found at Daryl’s House in Pawling with her sister and brother-in-law listening to tribute bands. Chrissy also enjoyed going to Virginia Beach and relaxing by the water.

Christine is not only survived by her beloved mother Gloria, but also her daughter Ashley Gallagher, her siblings; Tina Sutter-Wall (Tom), John Consentino Jr and Domenic Consentino (Margaret) and her many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved cats Pepper and Chloe, whom she adored. She was predeceased by her father and her son Douglas Gallagher Jr.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday December 7, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph’s Church, 1 Obtuse Hill Road, Brookfield, CT. Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street) assisted the family with arrangements. Please visit www.danburymemorial.com to send the family condolences.
