Chong Sun Yi Tricarico “Lee” died peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday November 14, 2023 at Havencare at Hancock Hall. She was 79 years old.

Born on December 15, 1943 in Hwasun, Jeolla-do South Korea, daughter of the late Jageun Lee and Jirye Kim.  Lee was predeceased by her beloved husband Leonard Tricarico and Father in Law Joseph Tricarico.

Chong worked as an assembler with Ullman Devices for 40 years. Her greatest love and joy in life was her family, she was truly a selfless and loving person. Lee had a great passion for flowers, birds, butterflies, fishing and babies. Lee lived a beautiful life full of love and joy for her family. She had unwavering strength to overcome all obstacles and the heart of a warrior that always brought triumph.

Lee is survived by her loving daughters; Cynthia Lee Tricarico LaDuca and Carol Lee Tricarico, her grandchildren; Matthew Tricarico, Joseph LaDuca , Lucio LaDuca and Stephanie Lee Sereday , her great grandchildren Leonardo, Vincenzo, Jade and Emmy, Daughters in Law Jolie Tricarico and Lauren LaDuca , Sister Bok-Rye Lee , Brother Hong Geun Lee and many nieces and nephews. She was not only predeceased by her husband, but also her great granddaughter Lucy and many siblings.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday November 21, 2023 at 11am at St. Gregory the Great Church, 85 Great Plain Rd, Danbury, CT 06811. Interment will be private. Danbury Memorial Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
