Chad Edward Woodruff

Chad Edward Woodruff, 40, passed away on April 25, 2020, unexpectedly at Waterbury Hospital. Chad was born on May 23, 1979 at Danbury Hospital son of Gwen Fuhrmann and Weldon E. Woodruff Jr. Chad graduated from Danbury High school in 1998, and shortly thereafter attended Western Connecticut State University. Chad would spend most of his career as a mortgage broker in the greater Danbury area. Chad was a kind, loving, and funny person that would give you the shirt off his back without being asked and expected nothing in return. His personality would fill a room and he would always make you laugh. Many summers with Chad were spent at the beach boogie boarding and catching some rays. He enjoyed cooking dinners for his family and having the finer things in life. When he wasn't working he loved playing basketball in his free time and cherished spending time with friends and family. 

Chad is survived by his daughter, Madison Marie Arnold; mother, Gwen Fuhrmann; and stepmother, Martha Woodruff. He will be greatly missed by his sisters Carley Woodruff (Freddy Jimenez), Ashley Botex (Joel), nephews Peter Thomas Jr. and Evan Botex; nieces Ella Star Jimenez, Alana Botex, Eve Star Botex, and a great- niece Demi Amina Thomas. Chad is also survived by his aunt Lisa Nezvesky and uncle, Joel Nezvesky, as well as cousins Ryan Nezvesky, Blake Nezvesky and John Thomas Woodruff Jr. From Texas, he will be missed by his aunt Nancy Gillum and uncle, Robert Gillum. He was predeceased by his father Weldon E Woodruff Jr.
