Carlos Manuel Dealmeida

Carlos Manuel Dealmeida, of Danbury, CT, passed away peacefully with his children by his side on April 4, 2026. He was 76 years old.

Carlos was born in Forno Telheiro, Portugal, son of the late Carlos Dealmeida and Maria Rosa Pinto.

Carlos was a machine operator with Republic Foil for over 40 years before retiring. He was a very simple person. He enjoyed watching old Westerns. Carlos also enjoyed the comfort of walking outside.

Family was everything to Carlos. He had been the primary caregiver of his former mother-in-law, Maria Fonseca, since her husband's passing in 2014. 

His greatest passion in life was his grandchildren; he enjoyed all the memories he shared with them.

Carlos is survived by his children; Carlos Dealmeida and his wife Jennifer and Rosemary DeSousa-Lopes and her husband Ricky, his beloved grandchildren; Christian, Zelda and Aurora and his sisters; Isabel, Rosette and Melita.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Tuesday, April 21st 2026, at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street Danbury, CT.) from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. A private cremation was held prior.
