Blanka Zambory

Blanka Zambory, of Somers, NY, passed away peacefully on May 3,2025. She was 91 years old.

Born on September 24, 1933 in Gyor, Hungary, daughter of the late Dr. Imreh and Blanka Pul. She attended college in Hungary and after immigrated to the United States continued her education.  Blanka was married to the love of her life Geza Zambory, he predeceased his wife.

Blanka was an animal lover and conservationist. She was a longtime volunteer at Bronx Zoo and a member of the Wildlife Conservatory. She traveled the world to visit exotic places and to see the animals she loved in their natural habitat.

Blanka is lovingly survived by her son Peter and his wife Kim Zambory and her grandsons; Luke and Owen. She was predeceased by her sister Kato.
