Blanca E. Rivera of Danbury, CT, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 7, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital after a valiant battle against cancer. She was 47 years old.
Blanca was born on February 15, 1977 in Ville Verde, Queretaro, Mexico, daughter of Margarita Villegas Chavez and Catarino Martinez.
Blanca arrived in the United States at the age of 18, displayed remarkable independence, teaching herself English, mastering computer skills and other electronics, learned how to drive, while also deeply cherishing her children. Alongside her devotion to her family, she enjoyed traveling and visiting the ocean.
Blanca is survived by not only her mother and father but also her loving children Sydney Isabel Rivera, Noah Alexander Yuqui, her sisters; Lillia, Fili, Nataly and Nadia and her maternal grandfather Jasinto Villegas.
