Blanca Orellana Obituary

Blanca Pastora Chavez Orellana passed away peacefully on January 20, 2021 at Danbury Hospital in Danbury CT while surrounded by her loving family. Blanca was born on April 11, 1947 in Santa Isabel, Azuay, Ecuador to the late Ventura Chavez and Dolores Orellano. Beloved wife of Luis Virgilio Duran Chimbo.

Blanca was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Caring for her family was her greatest passion in life. She loved getting her whole family together for home cooked meals and celebrations, and cherished seeing her grandchildren grow. In her quiet moments, she loved to spend time in her garden planting beautiful flowers. She was a devout catholic throughout her life with an unwavering faith in God. Blanca was a woman who spent her life taking care of others, and she will be dearly missed by those who love her.

In addition to her beloved husband, Luis, Blanca is survived by her six children: Samuel Duran (Mariana Guaman), Patricio Duran, Miriam Duran, Eddy Duran (Aida Guaman), Nelly Duran (Marcos Espinosa), and Diana Duran (Tomasz Danowski). Three siblings: Belarmino Chavez, David Chavez, and Laura Chavez. As well as fifteen beloved grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St. Danbury CT 06810) on Tuesday  January 25, 2022 from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial will take place in her home country of Ecuador.

Blanca Pastora Chavez Orellana falleció pacíficamente el 20 de enero de 2021 en el Hospital Danbury en Danbury CT rodeada de su amada familia. Blanca nació el 11 de abril de 1947 en Santa Isabel, Azuay, Ecuador de los difuntos Ventura Chávez y Dolores Orellano. Amada esposa de Luis Virgilio Duran Chimbo.

Blanca fue una esposa, madre y abuela dedicada y amorosa. Cuidar de su familia era su mayor pasión en la vida. Le encantaba reunir a toda su familia para comidas caseras y celebraciones, y disfrutaba ver crecer a sus nietos. En sus momentos de tranquilidad, le encantaba pasar tiempo en su jardín plantando hermosas flores. Fue una católica devota durante toda su vida con una fe inquebrantable en Dios. Blanca fue una mujer que dedicó su vida a cuidar de los demás, y quienes la aman la extrañarán mucho.

Además de su amado esposo, Luis, a Blanca le sobreviven sus seis hijos: Samuel Duran (Mariana Guaman), Patricio Duran, Miriam Duran, Eddy Duran (Aida Guaman), Nelly Duran (Marcos Espinosa) y Diana Duran (Tomasz Danowski). ). Tres hermanos: Belarmino Chavez, David Chavez y Laura Chavez. Además de quince amados nietos y muchas sobrinas y sobrinos.

Se llevará a cabo una reunión de celebración de la vida en Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St. Danbury CT 06810) el Martes 25 de enero de 2022 de 5 a 8 p.m. El entierro tendrá lugar en su país de origen, Ecuador.
