Belio Fernandez Del Rosario, of Danbury, CT, died peacefully with his family by his side on May 3, 2024. He was 67 years old.

Born on December 12, 1956 in Las Placetas, San Jose de las Matas, Dominican Republic, son of the late Isael Fernandez and Aurelinda Del Rosario. Belio traveled to the United States 50 years ago to make a life for himself and his family. Even though he came to the US he loved to return to his home and visit with his siblings. 

Belio worked for the Northeast Beverage Co. for over 26 years before retiring. He was a hard worker who never gave up on his goals. He loved to cook for his family, he was a great musician playing the guitar and loved to listen to music. Belio’sgreatest passion in life was his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dad jokes were never far away when Belio was around, he had a great sense of humor. 

He is survived by his loving children: Yosmeri Jiminez, Raquel Fernandez, Nelly Fernandez and Joline Fernandez, his 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and his many siblings. 

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Monday May 6, 2024 from 5pm-8pm at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street). A service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday May 7th at 11am. Interment will follow at Wooster Cemetery (20 Ellsworth Cemetery).
