Barbara Laidlaw, 88, of Bayside, NY, passed away on June 5, 2026, in New Milford, CT. She was born on November 30, 1937, in Astoria, NY, to Marie and Thomas Pesik.
Barbara was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, as well as a talented artist who loved applying her creativity to interior design, sewing, cooking and entertaining.
She is preceded in death by spouses Joseph McCaffrey and Robert Laidlaw, brother Thomas Pesik Jr. and daughter Meredith Scimia. Barbara is survived by daughter Stacey McCaffrey Fox and granddaughters Paige and Dylan Fox, son Matthew McCaffrey, daughter-in-law Nicole McCaffrey and grandsons Max and Joseph McCaffrey, and daughter Suzanne McCaffrey, son-in-law Buzz Miller and grandsons Tatum and Eben Miller.
Donations in her name may be made to the Czech Catholic Union.
