Arline M. DeFonce

Arline M. DeFonce, of New Milford, CT, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on November 26, 2021. She was 78 years old.

Born on June 23, 1943 in Dobbs Ferry, NY daughter of the late Americo Joseph and Margaret Paretti. On February 12, 1964 Arline married the love of her life Dennis C. DeFonce.

Arline loved her gardens; you could always find her tending to her flowers. She was also an amazing cook and enjoyed listening to music. Her greatest love and passion in life was her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is not only survived by her loving husband Dennis of 57 years but also her children; Dawn Bessette (Dave Tressic) of New Milford, CT, Dennis DeFonce (Lisa) of New Milford, CT, Derek DeFonce (Sonja) of New Preston, CT, and Dana Dahm (Chris) of Warren, CT, her 7 grandchildren; Mackenzie, Tyler, Devin, Justin, Dillon, Karsten and Zoe and her brother Thomas Paretti. She was predeceased by her brother Brian Paretti.

A private cremation will take place. Danbury Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 117 South Street, Danbury, CT assisted the family with arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
