Obituary
Anyelis Vasquez Paredes of Bethel, CT, died peacefully with her family by her side on Monday September 11, 2023. She was 44 years old.
Born on December 24, 1978 in Nagua, Dominican Republic daughter to Valerio Vasquez and the late Ramona Tejada. Anyelis was married to Teofilo Delacruz.
Anyelis was the store manager of Walgreens Pharmacy. She had a zest for life, she was a caring and generous person. If you wanted an honest opinion from someone- you asked Anyelis. She loved to collect coffee mugs and tea kettles from all over the world (places she never went but her family traveled too). Her family was the most important thing to her, especially her children.
Anyelis is not only survived by her father and husband but also her children; Anel Torres Vasquez, Avier Tejeda, her sister; Marian Fermin, many cousins, and her beloved dog Shy Vasquez.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday September 16, 2023 at 5 PM at Our Lady of Guadelupe Church (29 Golden Hill Rd, Danbury). A private cremation was held prior. Anyelis’ ashes will be buried in Dominican Republic.
