Antoinette "Toni" R Batterson

Antoinette R. Batterson paced away peacefully on May 23, 2021 at Candlewood Valley Health & Rehabilitation Center in New Milford, CT. Toni was born on July 22, 1948 in New York, New York to the late Marie (Kelly) & Alphonse Celentano.

Toni was a vibrant soul who loved to watch sports, especially women’s basketball. She delighted in cooking for her family and was known for her famous bread and butter pickles, which she took great pride in. She worked for several banks prior to retirement, then became a Tax Preparer for herself afterwards earning the nick name “Toni the Tax Lady”. Toni loved to take vacations to Maine and Cape Cod whenever she had the chance.

Toni is survived by her sons Daniel Batterson and Eric Batterson, her brothers Tom Celentano and Stephen (Tex) Celentano, her granddaughter Briana, her brother-in-law Robert Batterson, her sister-in-law Lorian Batterson, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
