Antoinette McNichol (Mary Antoinette McNichol) died on December 17, 2021. Born March 31,1950, Antoinette was the daughter of June Cousins McNichol and Robert McNichol. She was the first of five daughters, Meg (Margaret),Mary Therese, Rosamonde and Felicity. Antoinette was the mother of six beloved children, Charles Page (Maya), Christian Page (Elia), Rebecca Page (Santiago), Luke Page, Samuel Page (Catherine) and Rachael Page (Daniel) and grandmother of Palmer and Clementine, Elita and Lionel, and Hope. She also leaves three brothers-in-law; David Kniffin, Curt Quantz and Calvin Ross as well as devoted nieces and nephew; Callie and Travis Kniffin and Savannah and Maya McNichol.
Antoinette attended the Holy Child School at Rosemont and the University of Pennsylvania. She was a star athlete at both schools including captain of her university's basketball team. She was married to Palmer Page from 1975 until 2000. After raising her children, Antoinette got her Masters in Education and taught in schools in Connecticut and Sonoma, California. She was also a gifted artist.
Antoinette was a devoted mother and grandmother and a beloved sister. She is loved and will be sadly missed by her family and her many friends. A celebration of Antoinette’s life is being planned for the spring of 2022.
Donations in her honor may be sent to The Old Adobe School in Sonoma, CA, where Antoinette happily taught for a number of years.
