Anita Jean Staib

Anita Jean Staib passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 17, 2023 in Danbury, CT. She was 81 years old. Anita was born on February 5th ,1942 in Danbury, Connecticut to the late Anita Garofalo and Michael Baldasare. Wife of the late Leonard Staib Jr.

Anita loved time with her family, grandkids and great grandkids. She loved to cook for her family and create amazing memories. She enjoyed an occasional dinner out, and trips to the casino.
Anita is survived by her two sons: Michael (Stephanie) and Scott (Annett) Staib, her daughter Lori Hauschild (Paul). One sister, Carol Stirling, as well as five Grandchildren: William Staib, Ella Staib, Nicholas Staib, Erika Staib and Marlie Staib and two Great Grandchildren: Shepherd and Reuben.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street, Danbury, CT) on Monday October 23 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with a Prayer Service to begin at 6:45pm.
