Ana Polonia Batista de Espinal passed away on September 23rd, 2025. She was born on June 9th, 1929 in Las Placetas Sajoma, Dominican Republic to Federico Ramirez and Maria Benita Batista.
Ana was woman who was dedicated to family, friends and neighbors. She was active in her community, being a member of Mother’s Association, (Club de Madres). Ana was known to be hospitable and loved to receive and help her many guests. Everyone had a plate on her table. She was known to her many loved ones as hardworking, open minded, and patient.
Ana married the love of her life Damian Antonio Espinal Collado in 1947 and built a life together for 60 years. They came to the United States on October 25th, 1993 residing in Brooklyn, New York. They relocated to Danbury in 1999 where they lived a life of love together working and raising their family. Ana was a devoted wife and mother whose priority was caring for and loving her family.
Ana’s legacy is carried on by her children; Isabel, Maria del Carmen, Rafael, Ana Silvia, Federico, Adelaida, Pedro, Marina, José, Maria Del Rosario, Maria Estela, Ceferino, Olga, Filiberto y Dolores. In addition she also leaves behind 40+ grand, great, and great great grand children. She was predeceased by her spouse, Damiano Antonio Espinal Collado.
