Alvin Thomas Paliani, 85, passed away on April 16th, after a two year battle with Lymphoma. Alvin lived in Mahopac for 58 years, driving a school bus for 12 years before retirement. He was larger than life, always making everyone laugh and smile with a joke or a hand-made craft. He loved to travel and enjoyed his favorite places out west on numerous trips with his wife and children. He was the most dedicated and wonderful father and Poppy every single day of his life. He will be forever missed.
Alvin was predeceased by his son, Stephen, and is survived by his wife, Pauline, his daughters Marie and Sharon, his son in laws, William and John, his four grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephanie, Taylor, Nicholas, and his great grand-daughter Kendall. There are no formal services planned as the family will be having a private celebration of life picnic in his honor.
