Alvin Stephen Duhan

Alvin Stephen Duhan passed away peacefully on January 24, 2021 at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT. Alvin was born on November 23, 1936 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Stephen and Anna Duhan.

Proud owner of New Milford Diner and South End Texaco, Alvin was a hardworking and kind man that accomplished so much during his time. He was well known in the area as the person who could fix anything. He was very generous and helped so many people on different levels, whether it be repairing their car for free, providing a free meal or offering a place to stay. He valued helping people in their times of need, whether you were a close friend or a complete stranger.

In his free time, he loved playing guitar and relaxed by watching Elvis Presley movies.

He was truly brilliant and will be deeply missed.

Alvin is survived by his beloved children: son Mark Duhan and daughters Tonya Farber and June Castle-Covill.
