Allen Gregory Taylor

Allen Gregory Taylor, of Danbury, CT, died peacefully with his family by his side at Danbury Hospital on April 30, 2023. Allen was 67 years old.

Born on September 24, 1955, in Mount Kisco, NY, Allen was the son of the late Allen Taylor and Alma (Burke) Taylor. Allen was married to Kathleen Picha, whom he regarded as the love of his life, for over 20 years until her passing in 2015. Her death left an immense void in his heart and life.

For many years, Mr. Taylor served as a drug and alcohol counselor for Arms Acres in Carmel, NY. He was deeply spiritual and believed in the purpose behind every aspect of life. Allen had a strong passion for music and took pride in his children's participation in the orchestra. His love for his family was his greatest joy and driving force in life, and his devotion to his wife and children was unparalleled.

Allen is survived by his adoring children: Brittany Taylor (Tristan Fancie), Keith Taylor, Olivia Taylor, and Kayla Taylor, as well as his cherished pets Tank, Mayah, and Lila, and his siblings Kim and Bruce, along with many nieces and nephews.

Although we are deeply saddened by Allen's passing, we take comfort in the memories he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of kindness, compassion, and love will continue to live on.

A visitation for Allen will be held on Sunday May 28th beginning at 12pm at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street, Danbury).  A celebration of life service will begin at12:30 pm at the funeral home.
