William Curtis Kendrick

William Curtis Kendrick III passed away peacefully on December 3, 2018 at Regional Hospice in Danbury, CT with his beloved Holly by his side. William was born on August 9, 1956 in Arcadia, Florida to the late Margaret Jean (Nelson) and William Curtis Kendrick Jr.

William worked as a senior automation programmer for Environmental Controls of West Hartford. Will was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed kayaking, skiing, cycling, hiking, beekeeping and photography. Will and Holly enjoyed traveling the world and Will was known to never meet a stranger. His smile was infectious and you were immediately drawn to his humble spirit and the light of Christ from within.

William is survived by his wife Holly Kendrick; his brother Lee Kendrick; sister BettyJean (Kendrick) Legg; sons Brandon Kendrick, Matthew Kendrick; daughters Leah Kendrick, Leslie (Kendrick) Stieber, Lauren Kendrick; grandchildren Dylan Kendrick, Austin Kendrick, Grace Kendrick, Michael Kendrick, Justin Kendrick, Hailey Kendrick, Vinson Kendrick, Kaylin Stieber, Cole Kendrick, Robert Berry, Christopher Berry, Faith Berry, and Annabelle Berry. Niece Jodi Whisenant and nephew Kyle Kendrick.

Holly wants to send a special thanks to Lisa Taylor, Dr. Michael Cohenuram, the staffs at Praxair Cancer Center, Smilow Cancer Hospital Yale New Haven and Trumbull, Regional Hospice of Danbury, as well as, many friends and family members.

A Celebration of Life Service for William will be held on Saturday December 8th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Family Church, 174 Mount Pleasant Road, Newtown, CT 06470.
