Saveria DiCiacco

DICIACCO, Saveria E. “Sally” (née Perri) of Danbury, CT passed away on December 14, 2018 surrounded by her children at her own home in Danbury, CT. Saveria was born on February 21, 1928 in Queens, NY. She was 90 years old.

Saveria was very talented and worked for many years as a fashion illustrator. She also was an impeccable seamstress who worked for years at Saks Fifth Avenue. Fashion was always a big part of her life. Her hobbies included sewing and gardening. She enjoyed visiting her children and grandchildren. She loved her family.

Saveria was pre-deceased by her husband, Steve in 2003. She is survived by her daughter Janet (Raymond), sons Steve (Susan), James (Jackie) and Joseph (Lisa). Cherished Grandmother of Tina, Tony, Donna, Christina, Jenna, Alanna, James and Arianna. Beloved great-grandmother of Nicholas, Gianna and Dominic. 

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home, 117 South Street, Danbury, CT from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph’s Church, 8 Robinson Ave, Danbury, CT. Interment will immediately follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 71 Lake Ave Extension, Danbury, CT.
