Roberta Jean Bacon passed away peacefully on December 13, 2017 in Brookfield, CT while surrounded by her loving family. Roberta was born on August 31, 1937 in Stamford, CT to the late Ada Lucy (King) and Pierce Dowrie.
She studied music at the college now known as Western Connecticut State University where she met Francis Bacon. Roberta and Francis married and raised 4 children in Brookfield CT. Her love of music lives on in her children.
She is survived by her husband Francis Bacon, her sister Claire Dowrie, her children Cathy, Phillip, Evelyn and Claire Bacon and her grandson Daniel Bacon.
