Paula Amador of Danbury, Connecticut passed away on March 5th, 2019 at Danbury Hospital. Paula was born on June 20, 1918 in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico to the late Juan Melecio and Julia Torres. She is the widow of Eduardo Amador.
Paula was passionate abour her Faith, family, cooking, playing bingo and an occasional hand in dominoes. Paula retired from Heli Coil in Danbury.
Being a devout Catholic, Paula taught Catechism, sang in the choir and was a very active member in the Parish. She was one of the founders of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Danbury.
Paula is survived by her loving daughter Angelina “Yeli” Camacho and her husband Juan Camacho, her son Eduardo Amador Jr. along with his wife Anita Amador; grandchildren Maria Camacho, Ronnie Camacho and his wife Deyanira Camacho, Sally Amador and Edward Amador. Paula is also survived by many nieces and nephews. To cross paths with Paula was to gain a true friend with unconditional love. Paula was the last of twenty-one siblings.
Family and friends may visit Monday March 11,2019 from 5 to 8 pm at the Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St Danbury).Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday March 12,2019 at 10 am at Our lady of Guadalupe church (29 Golden Hill Rd Danbury).Followed by Entombment at St Peter Cemetery.
