Norma Anita Smigowski, age 86, passed away peacefully this morning on Sept.5th at her home in Danbury,CT.Norma was a graduate of Danbury H.S.and she remained a life-long resident of Danbury. She was a Danbury Business Owner for many years,she worked for BRT Corp.for 47 years and only recently retired.She was an avid volunteer in the Community and spent a life time of helping others get through their difficulties.
Norma is preceded in death by her daughter, Sharyn Panagides,survived by her brother John Montesi and his wife Julia Montesi of San Jose,CA.,her niece Brenda Hogue of San Jose,CA.,her nephew Brian Montesi of San Diego,CA.,her niece and nephew Mona and Frank Russo of Danbury CT.,her sister-in-law Zia Montesi of North Carolina,and her son-in-law Lindsay Boswell of St. Petersburg,FL.In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please give donations to your favorite charities in Norma's name.Thank you.
