Maria Esteves

Maria Esteves, Maria dos Santos Pires Goncalves, passed away on September 3rd, 2018 while surrounded by her loving family. Maria was born on February 3rd, 1941 in Folgosinho, Portugal to the late Maria do Carmo Pires and Manuel Goncalves Esteves. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Manuel Jose Brazete Esteves.

Maria is survived by her daughters Ana-Bela  (spouse Joao M. Da Cruz). Regina Rocha ( Paulo) As well as her sister Eulalia Batista, and two brothers Antonio Augusto Pires Goncalves and Albino Goncalves. Four Grandchildren Laura Da Cruz,Jonathan Da Cruz, Celine Rocha and Nicole Rocha 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to charities that make contributions to and research of liver cancer. 

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Wednesday September 5, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St Danbury, CT). Mass of christian burial will be held on Friday September 7,2018 at 9 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church (403 Spring st Elizabeth N.J 07201) followed by burial at Rosedale Cemetery in Linden N.J
