Louise Murphy

Louise Murphy passed away peacefully on January 1, 2020 at Candlewood Valley Nursing Home in New Milford, CT with her family by her side. Louise was born on October 3, 1939 in Manhattan, NY to the late Antoinette (Gerardi) and Louis Tulimiero. Beloved wife of Michael J. Murphy.

In her free time Louise loved to shop, making sure she was always aware of the latest deals and bargains to pay the best price. She had a contagious laugh and an amazing sense of humor that shined brightest during family gatherings. Louise’s greatest passion was spending time with her loved ones; whether it was over a plate of dessert, engaging in long conversations, or while watching her grandchildren play. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Louise is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Michael J. Murphy, and their two children; Michael L. Murphy (Amy) and Diane M. Murphy (Mark). Three grandchildren; Haley Arbitelle, Jacob Arbitelle, and Olivia Iannolo. As well as many nieces and nephews. Louise is predeceased by her sister Frances Vernagallo and brother Dominick Tulimiero.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday January 5, 2020 at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St, Danbury CT 06810) from 1 to 4 p.m. with a Prayer Service to begin at 3:30 p.m.
