Lindsay Ann Garde passed away at the age of 31 on December 28, 2017 at Danbury Hospital. Lindsay was born on March 13, 1986 to Gretchen (Alward) Garde and John Garde.
Lindsay graduated from New Fairfield High School and received her bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University.
Lindsay was a hardworking and caring person. She had a love for soccer, and cherished her son Ryder.
Lindsay is survived by her beloved son Ryder Garde, her parents Gretchen and John Garde, sister Kristen Grasso (Jay), and paternal grandparents John Garde Sr. and Ruth Garde. She also leaves behind her nieces Sydney and Blair Grasso as well as her many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Lindsay is predeceased by her maternal grandparents Kathryn and Edwin Alward.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ryder Garde Scholarship Memorial Fund. Checks can be made payable to the Ryder Garde Scholarship Memorial Fund, care of Wells Fargo Bank and mailed to Wells Fargo Bank (1 Eagle Rd, Danbury CT 06810).
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday January 6th, 2018 at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St, Danbury CT 06810) from 10 a.m to 11:30 a.m.with a service to begin at 11:30 a.m.
