Linda D Orris

Linda D. Orris passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on the morning of November 6th 2018. Linda was wife to the late Gary G. Orris and daughter to the late Charles R.B. Linck and Mildred M. (Roberts) Linck. Linda was born on March 15th, 1943 in New Haven C.T.

Linda worked at Contact Systems, as well as being a bus driver for Candlewood Valley Bus Company during the early 80’s for Ridgefield and Laid Law (Danbury) bus company from 1991 through 1999 on mini 12.

Linda was an avid gardener and crafter, this is often how she spent most of her time with her grandchildren; creating Halloween costumes and school projects, new flower and vegetable gardens every spring. She enjoyed watching baseball and football, rooting for her Chicago teams the Cubs and the Bears respectively. She loved going to the Candlewood Lake fireworks every year. Everyone adored her famous hungarian pastries and other family recipes. When not with the family or busy in the kitchen Linda enjoyed playing her favorite game of BINGO. Linda was immeasurably loved by her family and friends because of her kindness, generosity, and humor. Her memory will be honored by those whom she has touched.

Linda was predeceased by her sister Janet Malmsheimer and brother Charles R.B. Linck.

Linda is survived by her Brother Alfred Linck (wife AnneMarie), Sister in-law Patricia Linck and many nieces and nephews. Daughter Kimberly Bertram & children Matthew & Melanie Bertram Roesing. Daughter Arlene DuHaime & children Kristen Ayala (husband Oscar), Daniel & Kevin DuHaime and great granddaughter Olisia Ayala. Son Arthur (Bert) Bertram (wife Patti) & children Katie (fiancé Chris), Briana (fiancé Kyle) & Brian. Daughter Koryne Garcia & children Gary Lessard (fiancé Jennifer and daughter Shane), Marc Lessard (wife Catika). Step-daughter Nina Fournier (husband Frank) & children Victor Aponte (predeceased), Marilee Aponte, Jacqui Fournier & Aimie Melko. Step-daughter Lynn Wren (husband Ben) & children James & Christina Pancotti, Shannon Stevens & Ashley Wren. Step-daughter Kim Orris (husband Andre Rua) & children Mandy Butler & Keira Rua. Step-daughter Aimie Orris (husband Miguel Rua) & child Danielle Rodriguez (husband Xavier) & great grandchildren Jayden & Lillyana.
