Kathryn Ann Tuohey

Kathryn Ann Tuohey passed away on September 4th, 2017 at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT while surrounded by her loving family. Kathryn was born on March 22nd, 1963 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Caroline Ann (Sessions) and Salvatore Tripodi. Wife of Milton Ortega.

Kathryn was always striving to help the people around her, and made it her mission to improve the lives of as many children as possible. She ran her own daycare until 2002 and then began to nanny thereafter.

In Kathryn’s free time she enjoyed gardening, writing, and playing with her grandchildren. She loved her family immensely, and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She had a young heart, and a natural knack for finding and helping people in need, no matter what her own situation was. She will be dearly missed.

Kathryn is survived by her husband Milton Ortega. As well as her daughter Tiffany Tuohey (Husband Efrain Penarreta) and her four grandchildren Mariah Milliman, Caroline Milliman, Aiden Penarreta, and Abbigail Pennarreta.
