Jesusmaria Duran

Jesusmaria Duran passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 22, 2018 in Danbury, CT. Jesusmaria was born on July 6, 1951 in San Jose de los Matas, Dominican Republic to the late Isabel (Hernandez) and Enrique Duran.

Jesusmaria was the proud owner of Rodriguez Grocery for nearly 25 years. He was a devoted family man and loved his children and grandchildren dearly. 

In his free time, he enjoyed watching baseball and was a devoted Yankees fan.

Jesusmaria is survived by his beloved wife Angela Rodriguez, and their three children; Jennie Tejada, Edwin J. Duran and Diana Almonte. As well as twelve siblings- one predeceased sibling- six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday July 26, 2018 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (29 Golden Hill Rd, Danbury, CT 06811). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday July 27, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Burial to follow at St. Peter Cemetery in Danbury, CT.
