Harriet L. Miller passed away peacefully on January 5, 2018 at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT. Harriet was born on August 7, 1930 in Greenwich, CT to the late Charlotte Estelle (Smalley) and Harold Powell. Wife of the late Harry Miller.
Harriet enjoyed sitting down with a good cross word puzzle and working on her needle work during her down time. However, she cherished the moments she spent with her family the most.
Harriet is survived by her sons Bobby Dangaard and William Miller. Four grandchildren; Thomas, Lauren, Chris and Bryson and great granddaughter Caitlyn.
Harriet is predeceased by her husband Harry Miller, daughter Linda Durkin, daughter in law Melissa Miller, three brothers and one sister.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday January 13, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St, Danbury CT 06810), with a prayer service to begin at 12 p.m. Burial of cremains to follow at Wooster Cemetery in Danbury, CT.
