Christopher Michael Hughes

Christopher Michael Hughes passed away on November 15, 2018 at Regional Hospice in Danbury, CT. Christopher was born on December 1, 1977 in Garden City, MI to Timothy Hughes and the late Patricia (Pedersen) Hughes.

Christopher was a self-employed audio visual professional. He was a self-taught electrician, mechanic as well as an A+ certified computer technician. "Toph" as he was lovingly referred to by many of his friends and family, was a kind hearted man who always held his loved ones' well being at the forefront of his mind. Always willing to lend a hand, whether it was fixing a computer or car, installing a home audio system or chopping wood, he was there to help. Fond of the outdoors, he enjoyed camping and loved spending time at the beach, on the water fishing and boating with friends. His amazing sense of humor brightened the lives of all who knew him. We will always carry his memory in our hearts.

Christopher is survived by his father Timothy Hughes and sister Megan Hughes and her Spouse Bryan Lagas. As well as his aunt Ann Hughes Loeber, aunt Nina (Hans) Livius. He is preceded by his mother Patricia Hughes, grandparents Joan (George) Pedersen, and Vera (Urban) Hughes.

A Celebration of Life Gathering is to be held on Sunday November 25, 2018 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St, Danbury CT 06810).
