Christine Marie O'Dell

Christine Marie O'Dell passed away peacefully on March 30, 2019 while surrounded by her loving family. Christine was born on December 24, 1953 in Danbury CT to the late Albert and Christine (Wheeler) O'Dell. 

In her younger years Christine played various sports, with softball being her favorite, and later in life she enjoyed watching her sons play sports as well. She loved to take cruises to far off locations and adored her cats Oreo and Tigger. She cherished quality time spent with her family and spent many of her days watching and playing with her grandsons, Anthony and Dominic.

She is survived by her sons Corey Newsome and James Newsome (wife Ana Newsome), sister Nancy O'Dell, sister Patricia O'Dell, brother Albert O'Dell (wife Kathy O'Dell), Sherry Newton, several nieces and nephews including James O'Dell, Jennifer Winkel, Albert Archiere, Danny Archiere, Robert Newton, Jeffrey Newton, Casey O'Dell. As well as her grandsons Anthony and Dominic. She was predeceased by sisters, Judy Winkel and Carol Tarsi.
 

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Friday April 5, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St, Danbury Ct 06810).
