Angelina Marra

 Angelina Marra passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on January 25, 2018 in Danbury, CT. Angelina was born on November 1, 1928 in Bronx, NY to the late Marie (Pippa) and Anthony Tenore. Angelina was the wife of the late Anthony Marra. Angelina was born and raised in the Bronx N.Y. She and her husband Anthony later moved to Yonkers, N.Y. where they raised their three children. In 1985 Angelina and Anthony moved to Cape Coral Florida. Angelina was currently residing in Port Richey Florida with her daughter Angela.

 A message from the family: “To the strongest, most loving and caring woman we have ever known. You fought until the very end. You had a smile that would go on forever and you showed what true courage and passion for life is all about. We will miss you every single day for the rest of our lives. Rest in Peace our wonderful mother. The only solace we have is that you are with Dad, Grandma, and Grandpa. Till we meet again in heaven, we love you very much!!!”

 Angelina is survived by her beloved children; sons Anthony Marra Jr, Andrew Marra (Lisa) and daughter Angela Marra. As well as her brother Anthony Tenore and grandchildren Christopher, Alyssa, Courtney, and Jennifer.

 A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Sunday January 28, 2018 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St, Danbury CT 06810) with a service to begin at 2PM. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Angelina’s honor to the American Heart Association online at donatenow.heart.org or by mail to American Heart Association PO Box 417005 Boston, MA 02241-7005.
