Ana Rosa Almonte Genao

Ana Rosa Almonte Genao passed away peacefully on December 12, 2019 in Danbury, CT while surrounded by her loving family. Ana was born on April 10, 1937 in Juncalito, Dominican Republic to the late Rosa Julia Fernandez and Juan Pablo Almonte. Wife of the late Isaia Genao.

Ana was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Ana is survived by her son William Genao and daughter Jossie Almonte. Seven Brothers; José “Pachu” Almonte , Tiburcio “Mirito” Almonte,  Abigail Almonte, Arsenio Almonte, Ramón Almonte,  Juan Emilio Almonte, and Ramón “Ramóncito” Almonte. Two sisters; Rosaura “Rosita” Almonte and Maria “Mercedes” Almonte. As well as four grandchildren; Willjianny's, Isaia, William, Brianny and many nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Monday December 16, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (29 Golden Hill Rd, Danbury CT 06811) from 2 to 7 p.m. and Tuesday December 17, 2019 from 9 to 10 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday December 17, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at St. Peter Cemetery in Danbury, CT.
