Kathleen (Kathy) T. Kirkman

Kathleen (Kathy) Kirkman died peacefully, March 7th, while watching the snow fall with her husband Gregory of 44 years.  She was 64 years young. Daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy (Greening) Daly. She was born on November 4, 1953 in Yonkers New York.

Kathy grew up in Yonkers, NY and went on after high school to work for AT&T of white plains, where she met the love of her life; Greg.  She spent many years at home with her children and then went back into the work force; lastly working for Pilgrim Electronics up until 11/2008.

Kathy will always be remembered for her larger than life personality, her giving heart and the wonderful home cooked meals she made over the years. Her happiest times were the cookouts she hosted at her home in Bethel, and being surrounded by family and friends.

 Kathy is survived by her soul mate; Greg Kirkman, two children Gregg Kirkman and his wife Erin of Norwalk, CT, and Delia Duke and her husband Justin of Raleigh, North Carolina.  Kathy had five grandchildren: Nicholas, Zachary, Gabriela, Jackson and Jemma. She is also survived her sister Mary Daly and her many nieces and nephews. Kathy is pre deceased by her brother Michael Daly, after her parents. 

A Celebration of life gathering will be held Wednesday March 14, 2018 from 5 to 7 pm at the Danbury Memorial Funeral Home 117 South St Danbury Ct 06810
