Carter Grace Wright

Carter Grace Wright was born in New York City June 29, 2016 to Stephanie M. West and Michael O. Wright. She was the twin sister of Madison Olivia Wright.

Carter’s time on earth was short but impactful. She spent most of her days at New York Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital in New York, being cared for by a superior team of doctors, nurses, and medical assistants. Carter brought joy to their day with her bright smile and pleasant disposition. She enjoyed watching cartoons -  Peppa Pig was her favorite.

Carter was called home on January 27, 2018 to peacefully join her grandfather Richard West, who we believe is cradling her in his loving arms.
Besides her parents, Carter is survived by twin sister Madison Olivia Wright of Danbury, CT, and brother Malik O. Wright of Lithonia, GA ; grandmothers Annie J. Perkins-West of Danbury, CT and Dorothy Baker of Flagler, FL ; paternal grandfather Michael A. Wright Sr. of Sugar Hill, GA ; great-grandmother Joyce Wright of Danbury, CT; aunts, uncles, and cousins. Carter is predeceased by her grandfather Richard West, great-grandfather Joshua Wright and cousin Dwayne Campbell.Carter will be forever remembered for her smile that could light up a room and her pleasant demeanor.
