It's been a year since you've been gone. May God's angels continue to accompany you. Rest in peace.

You were so full of laughter, chatter, energy, and life. I thank God he blessed us with your presence decades beyond your 1st diagnosis. But God saw you getting tired and on November 17, 2017 peacefully took you in your sleep. A golden heart abruptly stopped beating, telephones stopped ringing, conversations ceased, and all helping hands were slowly put to rest. Although, your absence is deeply felt and many of us still struggle to cope with it. We are left to remember precious moments and memories created when you were here. I'm truly thankful for the time we've share. For all the families and friends you brought together in joyfulness.
To all those who took the time to ensure you were beautifully laid to rest. May God continue to help hearts heal. You were truly one of a kind. I will forever miss hearing, "Aye EvaLing!, Nena when will you speak the language, oh my gosh, forget about it, no way man, and all your comedic ways. You have left an everlasting imprint on all of our hearts. May you rest in peace.

Carlos lived a full life. I never thought that this day would come so soon. It was an honor to have been a part of his life. May his family and loved ones find peace and comfort during this difficult time. Carlos made an impression on everyone that crossed his path. Gone from this world but never from our hearts. Rest in Peace Carlos!
