Bridget Jo Somers passed away on December 24, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT. She was born on April 21, 1974 in Danbury, CT to Raymond George Somers Jr. and the late Rose Mae (Romaine) Rowell. She attended Danbury public schools until high school where she then attended Newtown High School
Bridget was a loving and giving person, even when she didn’t have much to give. She touched the hearts of everyone she met, and cared deeply for her children and grandchildren. Her family was the light of her life. Beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, niece, cousin and friend.
Bridget is survived by her beloved husband Daniel Brian Veness Sr. and their four children. Three sons; Zachary Veness, Daniel Veness Jr., Elijah Veness and one daughter, Kayla Veness. Her two beloved grandchildren Christian and Savanah. As well as her father Raymond George Somers Jr., sister Ronda Williams (Joseph), brothers Dennis Rowell Jr. and Raymond George Somers 3rd, and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her son Austin Nunn Rowell, and has joined him in peace.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday January 4th, 2018 at 7 to 8:30 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (16 Saw Mill Rd, Newtown CT 06470)
