Albertina Moreira passed away peacefully on November 16, 2017 in Danbury, CT. Albertina was born on September 23, 1937 in Angola, Africa to the late Joana Sandalawa and José Quinteira.
Albertina loved to cook and hosted a weekly Sunday dinner for all of her family to attend. She was a people person and cherished time spent with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Albertina is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Pedro Moreira, and their daughters Clara Moore and Vitalina (John) Ndunduma. Brother Mario Quintiera, sister Maria Quinteira, and sister Adelina Quinteira. As well as 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 21, 2017 at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St, Danbury CT 06810) from 10 to 11 a.m. with a service to begin at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Wooster Cemetery.
